In the grand tradition of Mark Sutherland and Tony Edwards, the Australian surf cartoonists of yore, I set about drawing a regular strip for Australia’s Surfing Life in 2009. The shtick was that the readers supply outrageous surf yarns for me to draw up into a comic. Some of these stories are the cold hard truth but, if I was to be truly honest, I’d be obliged to let you know that I may have embellished a little bit.. just a tiny little bit.
